After driving approximately 1600 miles in three days, we arrived in Twin Falls, ID on Friday, May 27th
for a visit with old friends. Attached are pics of some of the awesome
sights between Indiana and Idaho. We saw numerous wind farms in almost
all the states we passed through with most in Wyoming. All major rivers we crossed
(Mississippi, Missouri, North Platte, Weber and Snake) were extremely high and over
their banks. Snow continued each day at higher elevations with lots stilled piled up
against snow fences in Wyoming. The Snake River in particular is very high. At highest
levels since 1997 and forecasted to go even higher with continued snow melt. Not sure
what to expect on our last leg tomorrow to Gardiner, MT. Newspapers here reporting
that some roads and campgrounds are still closed in Yellowstone.
We'll be in touch

We sure miss you already, Have a great learning experience and hope you find you 10 x 12 room comfortable later this week. Margaret & Sergio
